Woke up sick again! Not a good feeling... I'll write more about my adventure to the bookstore later.
Danny is cosigning for us to start a bank account over here so we've been filling out paperwork. Its in Korean so its kind'a difficult to figure out but I think we did it right. We will have an account with Korean Exchange Bank so we don't get charged every time we try to use our credit or debit card. And Danny called me this morning to let me know he found 4 more students who might want to study with me!! YAY!! I am really hoping this all works out. I read in the book Korean Calling a while ago that it takes a while to establish jobs but after a couple months its much easier. Danny also said I am learning about the city faster than most foreigners. Which I hope is true I understand the subway now and I can get around town on the bus and I can go shopping and after tonight I'll be able to get books. I think I am settling in pretty quickly its mainly the language that stands as my main barrier.
Danny also told me I am like one of his family now which was very sweet. He is doing so much for us so I am trying to be the best teacher I can be. Whenever they invite us out to do something we always say yes and when we have lessons I always stay for dinner and I usually stay for 2-4 hours instead of just one helping the kids. Danny said he is very happy with how confident Emily is becoming with her English and I think Melody is getting a little better too!
Danny found a comfortable chair for us at a factory where his friend works so we will have a second chair after tomorrow! And Danny got it for free since he has a friend who works there!! I am excited because we have to trade off using the chair and sitting on the stairs for dinner or when we practice Korean. I'm sad to say our bed has been more of a kitchen table then anything.... So I am excited about that. Also we are getting a small TV for Eddie so he can play his Xbox over here with his friends online. I don't really care about the TV so much but Eddie is so thats good!
Also I'm proud to say I have acquired a taste for seaweed. I used to hate it but I've had to eat it a couple times eating out with others and I like it now... so for lunch today I had rice in seaweed at home :)
