Its amazing that in Korea this can happen when there are much more controversial things happening in America and those people aren't being punished like this.

I found another one on how Korean's only like English teachers from America because people from America speak the "best" and most "authentic" English. The author was just complaining about racism with teachers. This is something I have noticed. Also I heard Danny talking to Jimmy (one of my students) before I was officially hired and he said. "Well she's pretty." I don't think that is a good reason to hire a teacher but looks are very important here and as an American white woman people definitely idolize me at times. I would much rather him say she is a good teacher, or she is friendly but I got the job so I guessed that works over here.
