cold showers

One thing I may have forgotten to mention is that we only have cold water so showers are less than fun! Also the shower head is free in the bathroom so everything gets wet. So far my showers are about 30 seconds so it doesn't get too bad. Really I stand next to the shower preparing myself for about 5 minutes then jump in make some loud gasps dump some shampoo on rinse and run out! So besides the soup I am really craving a warm bath! I plan on heading to a spa one of these days but its not a high priority yet (not too many people plugging their noses when I walk by). Another thing I've noticed is that people don't really wear perfume over here. So just the smells of rotting food, exhaust and cigarette smoke fills the air. This is not to say that it always smells bad because a fair portion of the time I can't smell anything but when I do smell something it is usually not the smell of perfume. I also read that North Korea is giving tours now! I talked to Danny about this and he said "People in South Korea don't care about stuff like that" I thought that was an interesting response but I guess it makes sense because they consider themselves a totally different country (which they really are).
